👋 Hello, I'm
Arizael Capote
Computer Science · Data Science
I build data-driven solutions that translate raw numbers into real insights. Currently deepening my expertise in machine learning and predictive modeling — one project at a time.
Work Experience
My journey through labor market
Billing and operations
Walmart meat processing center · Costa Rica
Managed high-volume B2B invoicing primarily using SAP and Excel. Maintain data integrity across systems and generate daily operational reports. Provide cross-functional support in logistics, dispatch of products/routes, and administrative management of personnel
Logistic Prediction
"Lo bueno con lo bueno" · Supply Chain
Developed a demand forecasting model for a food distribution company, helping maintain optimal inventory levels and surfacing sales insights that guided restocking decisions.
My Projects
Things I've built along the way
QR Code Generator
A lightweight free desktop tool that converts any URL, text, numbers or code into a scannable QR code instantly.
Logistic Prediction
End-to-end demand forecasting pipeline for a local food company. Cleaned messy sales data, trained a regression model, and delivered a simple dashboard to support daily restocking decisions.
Hotel Reservation System
A full reservation management system built from scratch, handling room availability, bookings, and guest records. Focused on clean data modeling and a reliable business logic layer. (Need to be rewritten)
QGIS Parameters Extraction
Automated extraction of raster parameters from geospatial datasets using QGIS scripting. Reduced manual processing time significantly and improved reproducibility of spatial analyses.
Learning Path
My journey from Computer Science to Data Science & AI
My journey blends formal Computer Science training with self-driven Data Science mastery. Since 2023, I've built a practical data stack: Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), SQL for querying, and Power BI for business-ready dashboards. I've taken projects from messy raw data to deployed models that drive real decisions. Now I'm pushing into AI automation — LLMs, prompt engineering, and pipeline orchestration.
